Candra Rosewood

Blood lust, fangs, corpses with markings found on their necks, true?  Only in fictional movies and books?  One would think, one wouldn't believe such things could exist, at least that is what Candra Rosewood thought, only she thought wrong.  She also wouldn't believe that one could possible fall for such a creature, but as fate would have it, and not without a battle, she did just that. Candra, a very strong willed girl, who usually doesn't give easily to things that contend with the heart, finds that Kane is very determined, but that she can be just that and more so herself.  How you say? You'll have to read the book to find how she wins the battle not only with her fictional lover, but things of her past that mysteriously present themselves when she least expects them too.

Iblis

Hatred hath lain within my veins, simmering until days light extinguished into the hills, leaving a fiery glow, and then darken, cold like you.  I stood there and waited, like a statue, carved and worn within its crevasses, until my nightmare appeared in the distance.  You were always the one with dramatic entrances, feeling the need to look opposing and haughty, but I knew thee better.  I didn’t fear thee, nor cringed at thy sight; instead I stood my ground and as I waited the wind did blew your black hair.  Like tentacles, they streamed out from your head, reaching, finding me, but lost.  Eyes closed, I remembered thee well, when you were not as you are now.  I still can feel you, your touch, such warmth that crept into the depths of my soul and haply took thee as mine.  Fool I was then, to believe in such frivolous ideals, but then you took me and I was yours…body and soul. I hate thee as I hate myself.  For nightly, I wept at my loss and wish for days when I coul

Dark Love

They called to me, those winged angels, whose call is but my death.   I quaked at the stillness your soul made not, but stirred mine at your slightest glance.   I stood by my window; it is my jail, which kept me locked from you. Nearer and nearer they came, on horses black as coal.   You who stood in the darkened night under the pale moon light, whose shadow cast not…waited.   You came not to save but to jest at the pain that awaited me.   Icy cold with a soul wedded to its temperament were unfelt, yet in my presence, a passion all consumed. Further imbued with the thoughts of death did I succumb to your will and laid there as life poured its soul upon the cold ground.   My death was yours in which life breathed its power in every fiber of your being and made you the monster I feared most, yet loved. Even though I walk alone, a death like stupor drove me forward.   Your presence always felt, a thirst unneeded, unquenched.   I craved for it so much that my heart pained in its

"Birthright"

"Birthright" is a new and upcoming Paranormal Romance due out hopefully this Christmas. The main character in my novel, has fallen for the murderer of her parents, Kane Smith, a vampire whose psychi has caught the lovely Miss Rosewood and chooses her for his own human servant. With four markings before she becomes truly his, her life will never be the same again. It is set in Utica, Illinois, present time, where mystery lies deep within the Rosewood family unbeknownst to Candra and unfolds slowly throughout the story. Head strong, single Candra Rosewood, is at the pinnacle of her life, where things are just beginning to start off beautifully, until news of her parents death and no murderer to be found, sends her back home and leaving her pick up the broken pieces and try to start anew, but with one firm resolution, to find the killer herself. She meets up with Kane the first night she is back home and from there, her life becomes one upheaval to the next. Kane stalks
